Reasons Why a Person May Be Ineligible for a Loan

A person may be ineligible for a loan due to the following reasons:

  • Banking Restrictions: Applicants must receive their salary through Remita and use a bank partnered with Paystack. Those banking with GTBank, Zenith Bank, or Microfinance Banks will not qualify because these banks are not partnered with Paystack.

  • Existing Loans: Applicants with outstanding loans from Veend or other financial institutions may be ineligible.

  • Inconsistent Salary Payments: A bank statement without a consistent salary history indicates financial instability, affecting applicant's eligibility.

  • Low Disposable Income: If the applicant's disposable income is too low to support the repayment of a new loan, they will be considered ineligible.

  • Employment Type: If the applicant is not a government worker (either state or federal), they may not qualify for the loan.
