Why Deductions Appear Without Payments Reflecting

If your payslip shows a deduction, it means IPPIS has successfully completed the first step. However, VeendHQ can only update your loan when actual funds are received, not when deductions are merely recorded.

Here are the most common reasons for this disconnect:

  • Delays in Remittance from IPPIS

IPPIS may deduct funds but fail to transfer them immediately. Administrative bottlenecks, reconciliation delays, or internal processing issues can slow down remittances significantly.

  • Batch Processing and Backlogs

Payments from IPPIS are often processed in bulk rather than individually. When there’s a backlog or unresolved reconciliation issue from Ippis, several months of deductions may remain pending before being forwarded to the lender.
