Who is an IPPIS customer?

An IPPIS customer simply refers to an individual who is enrolled in the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System. IPPIS customers are federal government employees working in a Ministry, Department, or Agency (MDA) whose salary is processed and paid through IPPIS and who have an IPPIS number/profile in the system

The IPPIS Loan Repayment Cycle

If a customer takes a loan today, the repayment will be scheduled and deducted from the next month’s payroll.

There is typically a delay in loan repayment updates due to the IPPIS processing timeline. It takes approximately one month for IPPIS to deduct money from the customer's account, and an additional two months for the repayment to be updated by Eden. Overall, this process may take up to two months for full reconciliation.

However, on our end, we have an automated system in place to update loan records accordingly.

In cases where IPPIS is unable to successfully debit the repayment, the outstanding amount will be recovered directly from the customer’s account.
